Admission Policy
Mount Kelly welcomes students starting from Reception, with key entry points at Years 7, 9, and 12. Families living abroad can arrange online interviews through Teams or Zoom, while entrance exams are conducted in their home country under qualified supervision. Those applying for senior years may submit mock GCSE or IGCSE results instead of sitting separate tests, which proves particularly convenient for students already familiar with the British curriculum. The process is designed so that geography never becomes a barrier.
Requirements at Mount Kelly
All international students must appoint an official guardian in the UK—someone who bridges communication between families and staff, attends events, and provides medical consent when needed. Mount Kelly recommends verified organizations like BSA or AEGIS, though a nearby relative can serve this role as well. As a licensed UKVI sponsor, the institution begins visa processing immediately after contract signing and deposit payment, allowing families to plan their relocation comfortably six months before term starts.
Scholarships
Mount Kelly offers 12 scholarship types for Years 7, 9, and 12—covering everything from academics to swimming, music, drama, and even girls’ football at Sixth Form. Rather than purely financial aid, these awards recognize talent and cultivate an environment where students’ passion inspires those around them. The Westall Scholarship stands out by potentially covering full day fees based on income verification and academic merit—available only to local families, it emerged from a former student’s bequest after he received a full scholarship during WWII.
Tuition Costs
Fees for 2025–26 range from £3,540 per term in Reception to £16,500 for senior years (9–13) on full international boarding. Day and weekly boarding options cost less, while flexible boarding runs £60 per night including VAT. This covers essential materials, most extracurricular activities, meals, and access to all facilities—including the Olympic 50-meter pool and three artificial pitches (two floodlit). International boarders also receive complimentary airport transfers to Heathrow, Bristol, and Exeter at half-term breaks, provided flight dates align with the official calendar.
